Known for their exhilarating and highly-experimental live shows, Bristol-based industrial dance duo Giant Swan have shared details of their eagerly-anticipated debut album. Set for release on the 8th of November, the self-titled LP is preceded by its chaotic lead/opening track '55 Year Old Daughter'. Whilst Aphex Twin, Blanck Mass and Venetian Snares all spring to mind at various points in the track, Giant Swan have carved their own caustic sonic crater as they expertly pair metallic industrial noise with throbbing techno and disorientating electronica. Shedding light on the album's creation, band member Harry Wright explains: “It’s about getting stoned and losing ourselves to each other’s consciousness...This record is a conversation between aesthetics.
